There are lots of nasty things about chemotherapy, and hands down the nausea and vomiting are at the top of the list. Some days it seemed that nothing could calm the storm inside of my poor belly. Most days, these natural essential oils would calm my stomach enough to let me see, smell and even eat food without running to the bathroom.
Peppermint oil: considered the best oil to combat and alleviate nausea, it also can relieve bloating and gas
Ginger oil: can relieve stomach issues
Lemon oil: can reduce the feeling of nausea
Spearmint oil: can reduce vomiting and nausea
Ways to use it:
You can place drops of peppermint or spearmint oil behind your ears and on the pulse points of your wrists to relieve nausea
I used to add 1 drop of ginger oil and 2 drops of lemon oil to my water bottle and sip on it
Put 10 drops of peppermint oil, 30 drops of lavender oil and coconut oil into a roller bottle and rub it onto your belly in a clockwise motion
