In over twelve years of fighting, I have had to learn how to accept a lot of things that I never thought I would have to: weight gain, hair loss, scars, having metastatic cancer and the guilt that surrounds having a disease and not always feeling well. I am a work in progress, and this year I have really been focusing on learning to love me for me. I am not perfect, but I am ok with being fabulously flawed.
I challenge you this week to focus on the things you love about yourself and accepting the things that you wish to change. Loving yourself doesn’t mean you no longer wish to grow and change, it simply means that you are comfortable with yourself while you are in progress.
