Fab's Raspberry and Chia Jam
A fabulous low sugar preservative free alternative to sugary jam. Made from the superfood chia seeds.
- 2 cups organic raspberries
- 2 tbsp organic agave
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp vanilla
Put raspberries into sauce pan over medium heat. Mash the raspberries as they begin to heat up. If they are not super juicy you can add a little water to help break them down.
When the raspberries have broken down to a sauce consistency and the agave and vanilla. Stir to combine.
remove from heat and allow mixture to cool before adding the chia seeds.
Transfer the jam to a jar and allow it to cool completely. Once the jam has reached room temperature transfer to the fridge for an hour to set.
Store in air tight jar up to one week.
