I met Jacked Elsa within the pageant circuit for the Miss America NH scholarship program. We had lost touch, but were reunited through the magic of social media. I started to follow her and her amazing story and message. I love her emphasis on positive body image, loving your body and making healthy and smart choices to take the best care of your body. Fabulously Fighting is thrilled to introduce you to Jacked Elsa.
Q: What do you do for “work”?
A: I own multiple businesses.
Q: How long have you been doing this?
A: I started my first business when I was 16.
Q: How did you get started?
A: I was working at Chuck E Cheese as a party hostess. I would also dress up as Chuck E! A family approached me and told me that I looked like a princess and they wanted me to host their daughter’s birthday party dressed up as Cinderella. The child was through Make-A-Wish foundation and I ended up doing a lot of hospital visits for her. I ended up turning this into a business and would host birthday parties on the weekend. It was such a rewarding job making children happy. College came and I was extremely busy working my party business on the weekends and going to school full-time. I ended up not prioritizing my health and I gained 40 pounds. I Felt ashamed of myself when I could barely walk up the stairs at my school without panting and being in a sweat. I knew that it was time to change and I got serious about fitness. I ended up losing the 40 pounds, competed in my first fitness competition, and got educated on how to properly coach clients. I created Team Jacked Elsa which has gone international in less than six months and I have successfully coached over 360 clients worldwide. I grew up with an eating disorder I was anorexic, and I also have been overweight. I understand how difficult it can be and how hard it can be on your confidence! I wanted to create a program that was personalized and made everybody feel important. I dedicate 90+ hours a week on my coaching to make sure that everybody is getting the best results possible and feeling inspired, motivated, and loved.
Q:What inspires and motivates you?
A: Knowing that I can make a difference in making others happy.
Q: What tips do you have for anyone looking to get into the same thing?
A: You have to make yourself happy before making anybody else happy. Taking care of yourself is extremely important. It’s not selfish, it’s essential!
Q: What distracts you from your goals? How do you overcome those distractions?
A: Not having a plan. I make sure that every day when I wake up I have a to do list. I stay focused with that list and I also enjoy reading. I try to read a new book every week to expand my knowledge.
Q: Do you have any daily routines or rituals that help you to be at your best?
A: When I wake up I tell myself five things that I love about myself and five things that I’m grateful for!
Q: What are your non-negotiables in life? How has keeping these things a priority helped you to be successful?
A: Always treating people kindly. I was raised to respect everybody equally.
Q: What do you like to do for fun?
A: I enjoy spending quality time with my boyfriend, hiking, fitness, and helping others!
