If you want to start to rewire your brain, to squash that negative, inner monologue, you must practice these statements, make them your affirmations. An affirmation is a statement of support or a way of solidifying a concept or idea. By practicing affirmations daily and by replacing negative self talk with positive affirmations throughout the day, you can literally rewire your brain The old, negative self talk pathways within the brain will begin to atrophy as the new, positive self talk pathways become stronger. In a sense, you fake it, til you make it. Try the following affirmations or create your own:
I am amazing.
I am beautiful. I am strong. I can do anything.
I focus on the positive in every situation and within every person.
I am successful in all aspects of my life.
I am worthy and capable of love, fulfillment and joy.
