Basil Pesto (vegan, gluten free)
Use it to top your favorite gluten free pasta, veggie noodles, and more!
- 3 cups Basil fresh
- 3 cloves Garlic large
- 1 Juice of large lemon
- 1 tsp Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
- 1/4 cup Avocado oil
- 1/3 cup Walnuts toasted
On a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, place the walnuts in a single layer. Toast in a 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes. Let cool before moving on to the next step.
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth and paste like.
Serve over pasta, veggie noodles or use as a spread on a sandwich.
