Gingerbread Hot Cocoa (vegan, gluten free)
A twist on a timeless classic that is sure to warm your soul.
- 6 cups Non dairy milk (cashew, coconut or almond)
- 1/4 cup Cocoa powder raw, unsweetened preferred
- 1/4 cup Coconut sugar
- 2 tbsp Molasses
- 3 tsp Ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp Grated nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp Allspice
- 7 ounces Enjoy Life Vegan Chocolate chunks
In a medium saucepan combine the non dairy milk, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, molasses, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice and cook over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the everything is dissolved and the milk is steaming. Do not boil.
Whisk in the chocolate chunks a few at a time until the chocolate melts and is smooth.
Divide among 6 to 8 mugs and serve.
